The state has provided funding to help specific students afford classes in Summer 2023, which is called the Summer Accelerator grant. To be considered for the grant, you must meet the following criteria:
- An Appalachian State student pursuing their first undergraduate degree
- Be an in-state resident
- and register during early summer registration (April 3-April 17)
All students that meet these criteria will be considered for the NC Summer Accelerator grant. We will award the grant based on student eligibility and funding availability. The amount of the awarded grant will vary based on the number of eligible students.
There is no additional application other than signing up for Summer 2023 classes between April 3-April 17.
