Veterans and Active Service Members:
Post 9/11 GI Bill--Veteran - Chapter 33
For individuals who have served on active duty (or deployment) since Sept 11, 2001.
Veteran--Chapter 30
- For individuals who have served on active duty, who have elected to use this program (generally instead of Chapter 33)
National Guard/Reserves--Chapter 1606 or Chapter 1607
- For individuals actively drilling in the National Guard or Reserves who have not experienced deployment or full-time active duty service.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment - Chapter 31
For individuals approved by a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to receive program funding.
Dependents:
Chapter 33 Transfer of Entitlement (Post 9/11 GI Bill)
- For individuals whose parent has transferred their Post 9/11 GI Bill to their dependent child(ren).
Chapter 33 Frye Scholarship
For individuals whose parent was killed in the line of duty on or after Sept 11, 2001.
Dependents Educational Assistance Program --Chapter 35
- For individuals whose parent is 100% permanently and totally disabled or deceased due to service-connected activities.
